New one is far better on the road than the TD5's as the 6th gear means you can hold a conversation with passengers at 70mph without shouting! Very low 1st gear means a change to 2nd as soon as you get going but apart from that it's better. Nicer dashboard, better engine - about 25% more torque...

Although it is loosely based on the Transit engine it was reworked and altered by Land Rover. I would not just use a Transit manual.

If it's like mine for the 110 then you have tow plates that sandwich one chassis outrigger and bolts to the rockslider with 3 bolts about half way along. You have two tubes with them - these are to place inside the outrigger to stop you crushing it as you tighten up the bolts. Then you have to...

You know what it's like buying used vehicles, you can get one that looks mint but is a bag of crap. Just because the fronts battered doesn't mean it's a bad buy. As said High Capacity Pick-ups are hard to find so they will be a premium over a 90 Station Wagon. Good luck to you, if you like it...

Same dilema, I have a Red 110 and want to swap the farmer wheels with skinny tyres (sorry folks if you like em:eek: ) for either Silver or Black modulars with BFG Mud terrains. I like Black wheels but the Silver might be better as I have a farmer type White roof too :)
