an overdrive will make a big difference to your S3 mate, but make sure you get a good'un, and like the others said ...check your tires too

if there is no lift kit stick to 235/85/16's or stick a 2 inch lift and bung some 255/85/16's ....will give the best height and width then :)

if ya got the cash get some 255/85/16's bf Goodrich m/t's get the best height and width then. will have to adjust your steering stops though

Awite, im Hippy (or Dan) another newbie to the forum, had plenty of landys before new and old battered and brused from a series 1 that i learnt to drive in at the age of 5 through 2's 3's disco, few 90's right up to my newly purchased TD5 90 bought last week. Hope to get back on the green...

Defenders are not to bad for evryday driving...the city run should be ok as well...if you can find one with power steering.....that always helps etc :) im also after another 90 csw from the late 80's so happy hunting......if i dont get there first lol i used to have a 1988 90 td and it was...

same power and torque, but injection preassure is marginaly higher in the 300 and makes it run slightly smoother via a bit of witch craft. ...both very good motors ! buy the 300 if you can...if you can only settle for a 200 ...its hardly any different so dont worrie :) :cool: Hippy:cool:
