    Yes, I don't think I have that rubber any longer. I do have quite some leakage from the rocker cap vent, leaks on the o ring seal there and there is for sure some oil clogging that cap. I could give that a good clean, see if that helps it a little. Appreciate the idea!

    No sure what you mean by "stat", engine is pretty standard, running the mechanical diesel pump, a modified positive earth alternator made to look like a dynamo, original "1 ton" starter motor and the oil based airfilter. That pretty much sums up the ancillaries.

    No, it doesn't blow it out, not that the seal is particularly good. just passes by existing openings in the seal if you will. A little less when closed then when pulled out, I wouldn't say there is a lot of pressure behind it, but it does puff in unison with the engine.
