    Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have had the battery load tested and it is OK. The problem can occur anytime. I can start it up and drive for a while, turn it off while I go into a shop, for example, restart the car and the fault occurs. Other times, I can go for a whole month with no fault.

About 3 to 4 times a month, when I start it, the engine runs but the tachometer stays at zero, the transmission goes into limp mode and when I scan it for codes, I get a steering angle...
