Thanks @Stanleysteamer yep that is correct ref the plate, but the Paint cell which should have the code is empty - seems like a few 94 models went out that way! LPG was professionally fitted, and I've got the receipts for it (fitted when it was a brand new car apparently) - 2 tanks underneath...

Thanks all! Definitely agree on the rust treatment side. No welding and nothing more than surface rust on any of the chassis so its all very workable with. Was thinking just this morning that they seem rare on the roads so certainly aiming to keep good care of this one. Such a lovely British...
