Yes I think its new, I found it in the dash tray. It could have been taken out by the previous owner thinking it was overheating when it wasn't ! I like things to work as they should so yes, the gauge is irritating, I just need to get over it !

Yes same with mine, top hose hot, bottom hose is warm. Plenty of heat from the heater. I guess I will just have to live with the incorrect temp gauge. Main thing is that its not overheating.

The odometer on my 1983 90 has frozen at 250k. Speedo and trip working fine. I havent reset the trip since I purchased it a few months ago and shows I have covered 450 miles, however the odometer seems to have jumped from 197k to its present state of stuck at 250k. I'm baffled !

Just bought a 1984 LR 90 for a work vehicle. It has a 200 TDI engine upgrade. Really pleased with it. It has a rear wiper but its not connected. All the wiring is bundled up inside the door frame. Could this be a later door? did 1984 models have a rear wiper? Also can I ask what spec oil is...

Gotcha, what stumped me was that when I fired the car up and turned the blowers on,they didn't seem that warm despite running the FBH for 45 mins, as said though it could have been me thinking as the engine temp guage was cold the blowers were etc... I'll try again. Any chance of a cheeky...

Ah thanks Nodge, so that's why my temperature guage didn't move after 45 minutes of remote fbh operation. The heaters didnt seem to be blowing warm but that could have been me . Thanks again
