    Disco 2 Ipod/Mp3

I bought one of these for my 2002 disco: Connects2 Land Rover Freelander auxiliary input adapter - CTVLRX001 from Connects2 My head unit it one of the base models with just the tape and radio. I think it's called a C42 but this gives you a 3.5mm jack or RCA input.

Ok, so I'm still having this same problem. Can you tell me if it's something that i'm doing wrong while up-loading or is there anything else that could cause the problem?

    Visteon CD problem.

My LR radio has two holes on the front and it is removed with a hex key by turning out to release and in to tighten back up.

    Eh' Up

TBH I found the freelander quite impressive for what is realy just a shopping cart. The ground clearance was a major problem but I had good tyres on and just kept it nailed and bounced off the scenary. I don't think I'd do the same with the disco but it seems that the tyres are the important...

    Acetone as a fuel additive

I tried this a couple of years ago in my TD4 freelander. I got the Acetone from the local chemist. I used to do alot of miles and thought I'd try it so I did a couple of tanks at 10ml, 20ml, 30ml and so on. At best I got a 2% improvement and at worst I got a 6% loss. Bearing in mind what this...

David, mine only has the yellow button. No diff lock to speak of. I presumed it worked the same way as the freelander tc by aplying the brakes to a spinning wheel. Are they pretty poor off road then? Must be better than the freelander?

    Eh' Up

Cheers Dave. It looks like a good forum-plenty of **** take! So a Disco is better than a Freelander but a Defender is better than a Disco? What's better than a Def bender then?

I usually paralell a switch of the 1st click on the ignition so I can leave power to the radio and 12v supplies without leaving the keys in.

    Eh' Up

Hi all, I've just chopped in my Freelander commercial and bought a Disco II. The Freelander was great workhorse but the Disco is another thing all together. I'm very happy with the Disco so-far but after reading through some of the posts on this site; why do I get the feeling I'm going to need...
