    Freelander 1 Freelander EV

Another ten bob in the meter to charge it, that's about all I can offer:rolleyes: ? Sorry to hear this, hope it's something simple 🤞.

    Freelander 1 Freelander EV

BTW I'm not laughing at your misfortune just your description of what happened. I do absolutely admire what you've achieved, with a great dollop of envy, because I wouldn't know where to start & I'll admit I fall asleep trying to understand some of that coding malarkey 🙂. Keep up the good work &...

    Disco 2 ACE pipe leak

Hi all, having had a proper look at the leaking pipe (exactly where it goes to on the valve block) it actually goes to the bottom of the V/B to the ACE reservoir (one of the two piece pipes). According to the LR parts list (see link) I need pipe 14 (RQB000370) & pipe 12 (RQB000300) for diesel...

    Disco 2 ACE pipe leak

https://www.blackdownoffroad.co.uk/product/discovery-2-ace-pipe-2/ I've found this & it explains what pipes have the attenuator & what pipe goes where on the valve block.

    Disco 2 ACE pipe leak

Hi, looks like I need RQB000320 (top hole on valve block to ACE ram) as long as my 'quick look' at the pipes is right. I'll have a proper look at the weekend. Does anyone know if this is the pipe with the attenuator in it ? Typical these things happen just when the tax, £415, is due at the end...

    Disco 2 ACE pipe leak

Brilliant, thank you so much, about the only place I didn't look !:vb-groan2::). Out of parts 13/14/15 & 16 on list does anyone know what position these fit in the valve block please? https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/part/id/14.55781.56176.59694/brand/land-rover/

    Disco 2 ACE pipe leak

Hi all, I trust you're all keeping well. Long time no posts but I have a slight misting on one pipe, see pic. Q1. Does anyone know if the pipe goes to the front ram or the pump (haven't had time to have a proper look but think it's the top one from the valve block). Q2. Anyone know the part no. ...

    Freelander 1 Rear wiper issue

Happy new year all. I did fit a genuine arm to the D2 as well which again cured the same problem.

What have you done to your Freelander today

You'll have to loosen the sub frame bolts to drop it a bit to get the cradle out/in, best done with a empty tank.

    Disco 3 (LR3) Mot fail

Hi mate, sorry to see/ hear about the metal worm problems 😢. I can't believe for vehicles that aren't cheap to buy new LR, knowing what these type of use vehicles will potentially be used for, they couldn't go a bit further with rust prevention D1's body/D2's chassis/ D3&4's with what you're...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Funny, mine did that a few years back except it hadn't been moved for a day or two 🤔

    My 2006 Freelander TD4 Commerical

Hi,on the face of it that sounds normal. Once you put new oil in it I would do 500 miles then change again to give it a decent flush if you don't know the service history. I think the IRD takes about 0.9 of a litre on changes.

    Freelander 1 Freelander EV

I suppose it must be difficult to keep the weight down with conversions given they weren't designed for electrical perpulsion in the first place. I didn't think to ask if the series & defenders on display were heavier than std once converted 🙄, next time...... Still amazed at what you've achieved 🙌.

    Freelander 1 Freelander EV

I wonder if that's the case for most ICE to EV conversions ? At the Goodwood Revival the other weekend there were a couple of stands who were displaying their EV conversion wares, not cheap I might add.

Freelander 1 [Solved] TD4 M47 Coolant Fitting Part Number Needed

Wow, thanks for that, I didn't think of going for a metal alternative. Like you, I found some VW group bits that were similar but took 30mm hoses. I'll look to get one of those for piece of mind & take it to my son as he now has it, thanks again.

Freelander 1 [Solved] TD4 M47 Coolant Fitting Part Number Needed

Nice work 👏 I wish I could find that larger tee in my post #2 for mine, I'll look at Newbury LR auto jumble 🤞.

    My 2006 Freelander TD4 Commerical

Welcome to the asylum. As said bit of a rare beast but it looks a nice example. It will be worth draining the IRD oil before you splash out on props/VCU & bearing hangers. Make sure you undo the fill plug FIRST (before draining) using a single hex socket as the fill plug rounds off very easily...

Freelander 1 [Solved] TD4 M47 Coolant Fitting Part Number Needed

Not sure I'll ever understand LR's parts list 🤣🤣, as the part you linked should only fit upto the end of MY2002. My 2004 TD4 c/no started 4A so I'm thinking your 05 should start 5A & should use the PCH118134 as that's for c/no's 3A0 onwards (which is the correct hose for my old 04). So confusing🙂.
