Little update the old girl is running turns out I had the pipes on the water separator cap round the wrong way. :oops: Need to do a leak off test now as from cold it has a rough idle it's smoking a fair amount and stinks of unburnt fuel but at least it's running

Cheers nodge I'll check out the seal tonight. It was run on petrol/diesel mix for about 50-60 miles Just baffles me how it can run all be it not great. Then changing the pump and filter now nothing. So much for a quick fix f***ing motors o_O

With the ignition on I can hear the pump running. The reason for the change was the previous owner filled the tank with petrol I drained the tank changers the filter and it idled fine but no power after 2k. So stared again with a replacemt pump and another new filter but now nothing I cracked...

Evening chaps I'm looking for some help I've just changed both the fuel pump and filter now the dammed thing won't fire up. I've cracked the injectors to check for fuel flow but no fuel to be seen any suggestions where I may have gone wrong? I'm pretty sure I fitted the filter in the same...
