Hi, I have a 1999 Freelander 1 with the distributor type ignition, can I fit a replacement coil pack engine and if so do I have to fit the old distributor head in place of the new one?

I can't see it in there, can you?

Just checked the Rave manuals. They only have freelander k seried 1.8i from 2001, mine is 1999. I have a 1999 landrover manual but it doesn't mention it.

That is what the manual says, but not on mine. Mine is a 1999 1.8 i with the distributor on the side of the cylinder head, a very early model. There is no finned box or any box mounted on or near the fan unit. When I look in the fuse box there are relays there, but nothing to say what they do.

Hi, I've got a 1999 Freelander Mk 1 with an electrical fault that is driving me barmy! The connection in the offside indicator bulb holder is broken, so the previous owner put in some foil to pack it out. So far so good, the bulb works perfectly, until it rains when the light cluster fills...
