Belt, pullies and water pump if included the system. Peace of mind. I've got a mercs vianno here, a 3.0ltr diesel v6 at the garage with a destroyed belt wrapped up in the fan. An elastic belt to boot as well. All going to be changed as I've got to remove the bumper to shift the radiator frame...

They do a system like this for disco 3 and 4. 😎👍

The damper makes a right crackling noise and when it goes it's done. They stay noisy and fail full stop, not a intermittent thing👍

It it a dual mass flywheel on the manual 🤔 they can give the odd rattle and then rattle constantly 🫣

At least they haven't said they will do it without knowledge of the job. It's a big job that immobilizes the car and involves a certain amount of time. I've not done mine yet but need to so at some point even after 270k but I know it's going to be an event to say the least😵‍💫

Oh dear, missed oil changes in a previous ownership 😔 It's a big job that's for sure and if not done it's engine life over 🤯

I'd say wheel bearing retainer. I'd get that checked asap🤔

À good question, depends on exactly what is going on.. Does the noise get louder when you turn or strain the steering. Do they do land-rover repairs at the hospital? 😜🤣

Get yourself a long screwdriver and have a listen on the pump body while the engine is running. If it whining from within its worn👍

I'd be thinking the drivers window/mirror control unit is duff. If have the door open and wiggle the rubber tube where the wires pass through from the body to the door and see if anything changes.
