How easy is it to fit the intercooler? Does it make a big difference? I have stage 1 remap

Just got 15.4mpg. Thinking maybe the mad sensor has gone and will try and sort the wastegate tomorrow incase this is stiff. Gives the car a terrible range of 300 miles :(

Not worried, just wondering how there is such a difference in mpg. I got 23mpg when I drove to he Sahara, maybe just the fact I now have a bull bar and also it was urban driving. Will check the MAF and break drum
