It'll get muddy, don't worry. I've only had it a few weeks. Do you ever post anything that is more than 10% the length of your sig?

ah well, there you go. Shouldn't tell the missus. I would have loved to have got it for £175, but Tarantula 4x4, eXtreme Off Road Engineering 's stock list for land rovers looks a bit more like he should be called 'money spider' 4 items?

well, maybe that's the point. The holes and the A-bar make it look ****. More than likely that's what UP was on about. WTF are the holes for anyway?

Thanks for the feedback guys, as I said, IMO, the D4x4 bumper is the best looking one on the market. If you want something **** looking like the guardian one hanging off the front of your car, go for it - it's your money.

    Will these tyre's fit?

Have a look at a thread a little way down on 'Tyre Opinions Please'. Looks like your question by someone else.... The biggest that are supposed to go on a disco 1 are 245/70/16s, I think, with no mods. I'd be inclined to give it a shot with the tyres you like. Going that tiny bit over the 245's...

Spare wheel cover and locking nuts

Bought my 265/70/16's for my TD5 DII, set of 5. So one not so handy thing about the tyre size is that now the spare wheel fouls the rear bumper. I'm guessing that the solution for that is one of: 1) Take the bumper off (it will look horrid, no doubt) 2) Buy something like this: Devon 4x4 Off...

Bought both this month and last. Think LRM is poor. Nowhere near as good as LRO. Who buys LRM for what?

Cost of mods vs Cost of car...

My disco cost me £4K and change. 5 new BFG ATs is £570. Uprated suspension kit is £600 [http://www.devon4x4.com/products_a/k17c160/discovery-2-suspension-package/0.html]. Braided brake lines £65 [http://www.devon4x4.com/products_a/p2039c76/0/stainless-hoses-discovery-2.html]. So there's £1235...

Disco TD5 Breakdown - Fuel Pump?

Well, it's deffo the pump. Got a garage to scan it, which said it wasn't the pump, but working out where the fuel pump is (somewhere towards the passenger side), giving the fuel tank a bit of a clout gets it going again, but turn off a few mins later and nothing doing. Have ordered genuine pump...
