300tdi chassis with axles, engine, gearbox transfer box. Had super gas shocks all round, exhaust manifold gasket and downpipe. A few bits of welding and the chassis has started to be painted. House move so no time for this project. Looking for £1500 but open to offers.

In tank pump replaced still no good. Clear pipe after fuel filter shows more air than fuel being moved to the injectors. Cycled the ignition 10 times with no improvement. Won’t start not sure where the next place to look will be?

Fuel pump removed today and had nothing pumping. When I finally did get it to pump the pump would die after about a minute of continuous running and would need a 30 seconds rest before it would pull again for a short period.

The pipe you’re missing goes down to the turbo and controls the vanes on the turbo. There’s another one under the inlet that controls the egr. The turbo is on the left hand side looking from the front of the car and check there isn’t a pipe dangling.

ok so I think I’ve been a bit stupid. If I’ve got my egr deleted and the pipe going to the egr is plugged then it won’t affect anything with what port it’s plugged in to? The egr pressure converter can’t affect the boost pressure converter unless there’s a leak?

thanks for the help. Another question i have is I decided to double check the vac lines. On the pressure converter under the inlet manifold a previous owner has blanked the egr port. Just wondering which port is for what? One says vacuum and one port says out. Should the egr blank be on the out...

No oil on any of the joints. Engine side of intercooler and radiator covered in oil just wiped it clean to see if it returns. Variable vanes are free I can move the linkage freely. Is there anyway I can prove it’s working when it should do?

No oil residue. Atleast not since I cleaned them when I fitted the silicone hoses about 1500 miles ago

Done a little test today. Air mass looks suspicious: Actual air mass at idle is 696mg/stroke Target air mass at idle is 424mg/stroke Target air mass barely changes when stationary and revving however actual air mass increases to 800mg/stroke then at 2000rpm drops back down to 600mg/stroke...

Another point that may help locate the issue is the turbo whistles loudly at 1800 rpm when in a high gear and very light throttle. If I go above this I get no whistling. There appears to be nothing wrong with the turbo I’ve checked it for play.
