    L322 issues

Also right that some faults take suspension out, when I had a faulty abs sensor it took ABS system, HDC (that uses abs so understandable) suspension locked in place, I’d also dropped a bit but not to bump stops but when stopped and restarted the fault cleared for a few hundred yards and...

    L322 issues

Easier than pulling fuses then if it’s just a lever. Definitely on earlier l322s is a fuse that’s pulled.

    Range rover nightmare.

Again if rest of the car is good, do a full brake rebuild, parts like discs and calipers, pads, brake pipe isn’t expensive and if you can do the work yourself it will save a lot, check rear brake back plates as they hold shoes in place for rear handbrake drum assembly (rear is a hybrid set up...

    Range rover nightmare.

Depends on where the OP is based. It’s not something done in U.K., just a visual check to see if any warning lamps are on and even then it’s not all of them, think it’s engine, brakes etc. important stuff.

    Range rover nightmare.

Go ahead with a egr delete kit that also bypasses the cooler, this should help there. Don’t worry about warning lights as on the m57 of that age there vacuum operated not electric, it does have a fault code for egr vacuum if you hook up a scanner but it doesn’t bring a warning light on (previous...

    L322 issues

Would have to look at your manual but there is a fuse you can pull to put the transfer box in neutral. Maby do that- will mean loss of drive as it’s there as a feature so you can tow it unlike most 4x4s. But pull fuse and see if it goes into neutral then replace it see if it wakes up. If not I’d...

L322 Leaking water in rear pillar

Both my l322 have had leaks, first was sealant under roof strips that had a hairline crack, clean it up, no need to try and remove it, a good sealant, sikaflex, sticks like sh*t and few others are fine, bead of that down both sides cured it. Current l322 had a leak, where the top of the boot...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Don’t know if it’s both 3.6 and 4.4 but 3.6s are known for cracked inlet manifolds. Mechanic I know has done quite a few on 3.6s.

Also traced my fiber optics today and found it’s the Bluetooth module so used the pen case trick to bypass the module and joins the optics as my bypass loop hasn’t arrived yet. Onto eBay now for another module.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

That’s what I had to explain to NFU who didn’t even want to touch any LR product, when she said it’s high theft I said you don’t realise it’s the new sports and RR, not the L322s especially my then new to me 4.2 that still needs a real key and the car it’s self is now worth about 50p. They...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Ordered some last night, should be here today or tomorrow, only thing that concerns me is even with a knackered module when optics are unplugged one should be lit up mine arnt, unless what I read is correct and that in the event of a module fault the system gets gets shut down. Either way I’ll...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Got home in mine 1050 miles since Monday, no issues than dodgy side light bulb, great cars to do long drives in, £330 in petrol but worth it. Weather depending gonna give it a good clean especially inside after my son was travel sick, thankfully most went on him and his baby seat with only...
