If you find a galvanised chassis one buy it. If remapped, most are so depends how well done. Cheap ones are cheap for a reason. Avoid ones which look like they ramraided Britpart.

I have been running hydraulic hoses about 6 years.

OK, so noises from the system can be, Duff damper causing a sort of pump hammer. Pipes rattling. On mine I can hear something a bit like a groan when cornering hard, but no scraping.

Stainless will crack, hence using hydraulic hose.

How is the aircon compressor?
