Missing infotainment system in Vogue 2010 TDV8 facelift version

Not really a fault when someone has physically removed parts and broken the communication bus.

    Park brake not working

Currently going through the hell of fitting a new one of these to a 2010 RR Sport and I can confirm that when it's removed or disconnected, the parking brake light is amber and flashes red when in fault. There's no way that car passed an MOT with the light on as the parking brake wouldn't...

    Apple CarPlay

I have done this same mod, it is involved but totally worth it in my opinion. Aftermarket is ok but you will loose the access to all the factory functions and the screens are often too shiny and reflective so it makes it harder to see in sunlight. You know where you are with the stock head...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

It does a bit doesn't it? But I assure you that it's a bit more engineered than that. https://www.deadening.co.uk/products/dodo-dead-mat-hex-50-sheets It has really transformed the sound bringing a lot more bass forwards in the cabin. I didn't try it with just the new speakers so I can't say...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I turned the inside of my front doors into a 90's dance music video. Door handle cable broke the other day, but little did the car know that I was planning on removing the door car to replace the door mirror and the speakers in the front doors anyway, so... Huzzah! it's little tantrum...

    L322 2010 >2012 speaker wiring - Solved

For reference, as I found the detail, here are a couple of pictures to make life easier for others. Tweeter was pretty easy, the cap is on the + sp that's the Black/Red and of course Black is - Looking from the front of the woofer, it's the Right hand side that is the Positive +. Both wires...

Missing infotainment system in Vogue 2010 TDV8 facelift version

Yeah, that ain't gonna work, the one returning to all other modules is still swinging in the breeze! It can't done without buying some joiners, loops and the Y cable to get those to play together. It should be marked on the connector which side is input and output too. This is also critical.

Missing infotainment system in Vogue 2010 TDV8 facelift version

If you have a break in that fibre circuit, nothing will work, that is guaranteed. If you don't recreate the loop you're on a hiding to nothing. Each module on the fibre circuit has effectively an In and an Out. Light and data come down one side and out the other onto the next module, when...

Missing infotainment system in Vogue 2010 TDV8 facelift version

Here's a couple of snaps from mine From looking at your pictures it seems that someone has removed a section of the fibre cable so you can probably just get a joiner to connect them up again and get some of it working. I keep a couple of these in the tool box for troubleshooting Fibre...

    L322 2010 >2012 speaker wiring - Solved

I'm only replacing 4 of the speakers though so there's a good chance they won't be the same. I found another write up that detailed which is which so I'll connect them up and then test them with the website suggest by Roythebus. I found that the other day too so I'm interested to try it out.

    L322 2010 >2012 speaker wiring - Solved

Can any of you point me at a diagram or simply tell me which of the speaker wires is + and which is - ? I've bought some Audison Prima 6.5" and Tweeter components to replace the blown stuff in the front of mine and have a bit of an upgrade while I'm there (and yes, they are the 2 ohm ones)...

Missing infotainment system in Vogue 2010 TDV8 facelift version

I can probably help you out a bit here, I have the same car so I'll take some pictures for you of mine and see if I can get you the part numbers but as others have suggested the break in the fibre bus is going to stop everything communicating. You can buy loop connectors (I keep some for such...

Other What camera system are you using?

I cannot for the life for the life of me fathom the need for a front camera view on the rear view mirror that is what the windscreen is for is it not? I have Blackvue cameras in most of our cars and I would not ever recommend them. The way they compress the data is just horrible, it makes it...

    L322 Key fob case replacement.

Did mine when I bought it too. I had two keys, one was really bad with an awful silicone case over it and the other not too bad but the key didn't work. I decided to try a new battery in the inoperable key but settled for removing the sticker from it when I took it out 😁 I guess the...

    L322 Turbo Actuator stuck?

Or a split inlet manifold. They love those. Get your codes. Is it a 3.6? If so and you have a "boost correlation fault" it will almost certainly be a boost hose or a split manifold. I've had both go on mine. When the boost hose went, It actually split under the unit-abrasion sleeve so It...

    L322 L322 infotainment

+1 for the fibre optic loop. With my CD changer disconnected the other week when fitting CarPlay I was scratching my head as to why I had the RR logo only and then realised that looking the CD changer on the floor next to the car creates a sizeable break in the MOST bus! (It was MOST on...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

24th March 2006 was the significant date for that, no idea why it was on that day as I always thought that a 55 plate will be on the cheaper end but an '06 will empty your wallet a lot more but based on the Gov.uk website, you could conceivably get an '06 that is in the cheaper bracket provided...

Yes sir. It retains all the original functionality. You select Aux input and then hold the phone hang up button for second or two and switches into the IDCore unit; Android Auto or CarPlay. I will do a video on it when I get a bit more time. There are videos on the product page here so that...
