8/12/14 Going Great, Going Fantastic - Then Just Gone

True, the boxing gloves are on but I think it's a waste of time :(

8/12/14 Going Great, Going Fantastic - Then Just Gone

Funny enough I'm just googling my rights as I flick back and forwards here. I bought the Rangie about the 23rd Sept and the dealer gave me 30 days. I lost about a week of that because of the alternator going on it. Some websites are saying that on something major then the dealer should stand...

8/12/14 Going Great, Going Fantastic - Then Just Gone

It's December, t'is the season of jollyness and all that and Monday the 8th got off to a great start. A trip to the postie to pick up a missed special delivery from Saturday for a replacement sat nav unit that I obtained through one of the greatest acts of generosity I've ever received (you...

    Dashboard Pings Can Be Scary

Now anyone who has had the, ahem, pleasure of helping me out over the past few weeks of Rangie ownership will know that my L322 relationship has had it's own fair share of ups and downs due to me not knowing what I was really taking on but this new post should make you chuckle. If you...

    Diagnostics sorted, now gearbox query!

Just a quick update about the gearbox flush as it wasn't as drastic as I thought. When I got home the bill had arrived from the garage and basically they have changed the oil in the gearbox and replaced the box filter and gaskets. So it doesn't look like a total flush so hopefully I'll still...

Thought I'd ticked another job off the list but L322 said No

Then you sir truly are a Saint and I would love to take you up on that offer. You name the charity and they'll see someone wedge a few notes in the tin on the counter. Someone kindly handed my Freelander keys in when I lost them the other month and wouldn't take a reward so in his name, I...

    Fault code reader

After much soul searching and asking advice on here, I've gone for the All Comms and I'm currently giddily waiting it's entry into the UK. Can't wait to start clearing my own fault codes, so much neater than a piece of tape on the dash hiding the light (just kidding)

Thought I'd ticked another job off the list but L322 said No

As you know I love this forum and I love talking Landies and I wasn't going to whinge about this next little problem but I thought what the hell, someone on here will know a quick fix won't you? Please? My sat nav didn't work work when I got the car (mk 3 cd based one) and after a bit of...

    Diagnostics sorted, now gearbox query!

Quick update all. My local garage did a quick service on my gearbox last friday including a full flush and filled it with the priciest oil they could find (apparently they went on this forum as I printed out Bembles conversation and found out the best oil to use) and it did seem to make a...

    Diagnostics sorted, now gearbox query!

I just wanted to say thanks for all the detailed replies and knowledge you've passed on to me on this topic. Believe it or not, I've printed it all out for the village garage at their request and they're going to have a look at it on Friday for me so hopefully I won't need to visit my indy...

    Diagnostics sorted, now gearbox query!

Wow that's fantastic thanks. The dark cloud above my head has lifted slightly:amen: I'm a competent home mechanic but I think this is beyond me so I think it's manual mode until the New Year when my Landy garage can have a look. I'll update the thread when I know more. Thanks again...

Oh dear ...... I don't know whether or not to thank you for such a detailed reply!!!! Is it considered polite to thank someone for depressing them:pound: Hey ho, such is the life of owning an L322 I suppose. It sounds like I'm going to have to treat the old girl to a full service in my...

    Diagnostics sorted, now gearbox query!

Here's a strange one guru's ..... What I thought might be a simple service problem (it wasn't), I've sort of stumbled across a temporary solution. When in auto mode, when in top gear around 30 -40 mph, the engine would stumble at the same point in every cycle which I hoped would be plugs...

Me again, more help needed. Diagnostics this time!

Morning all Thanks for all the answers. All comms ordered and hopefully on it's way soon. Looking forward to being able to adjust my ride height again (not that I'll ever use it:pound:)
