Totally agree. I wouldn't buy a land rover off anyone other than an enthusiast. They're the only people that put in the time and they effort. Problem is they rarely sell.

To have failed that quickly and that much suggests either the spring has come off the seal or, as said, the surface is ****ed. Maybe try a better seal... I wouldn't trust bear mach with such things

There's no doubt there's at least a 5K premium added that's assuming everything else is perfect. I also strongly suspect that isn't a 'nut and bolt' rebuild as they claim. I would ask for photos of the rebuild. That's not to say it isn't a nice example. I know they say 1 owner but it's not...

Are they not standard metric size bolts? I seem to remember just cutting down some bolt I had lying around. it’s a PIG to get it all connected. I had to use a ratchet strap to pull the whole exhaust backwards.
