Well I had a fiddle with it this morning whilst sat in traffic en route to the daily grind and manually selected vehicle position, it thought about it for a second and then found itself! Worked fine after that, amazingly!

Where are you getting the aerial feed from in your mk3 unit and is it plugged directly into the unit? Cheers

Well my stock loom doesn't feed the antenna into the sat nav unit. As the OEM sat nav unit only has the two electrical connections whereas this new mk3 unit has the same electrical connections but also an aerial connection. Let me know how you get on pal ;)

Well its been a little over a week and zero warnings or dash beeping :) The ride is still amazing was worth all the hassle!! You really notice the difference at speed when in highway mode, a lot more stable. One of the bags wont hold air unfortunately, not a problem yet as using it everyday so...

Ah right, no dash message but it was making an awful ticking noise from the front wheel on the same said as the locked rear wheel. Sounded like when you get a small branch stuck around your axle when it was spinning up

Yeah I couldn't figure out what was going on when I got stuck in my P38, not use to electronic traction control always had diff locks before. It was strange as one of the back wheels was locked up and the other was spinning. I must admit not done much serious off roading in it due to the coils...

Maybe you should go easy on the loud pedal :rolleyes: I've not had great experiences off roading the P38, compared to my classics, mainly due to the coils and also having nexen rodian tyres fitted which do the job on the road but aren't designed for the soft stuff From what I've read it's not...
