    P38A Horn connector

C196 it is. More likely to be a Superseal. At that price it might be worth a shot.

    P38A Horn connector

There are two connections on the new horn but no plus or minus or earth symbol. One side might have 06 stamped next to it.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Seems to be OK. Nothing above the wheel arches. Bit of a mystery. I'll have a more thorough look next time I am under there.

P38A Any cabinet makers on here can advise what to do with this....?

I wonder if you could get away with some clear-setting epoxy from a modelling shop with a dash of wood dye in it?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Not much. I did give it a bit of a flush until it ran clear.

    P38A Horn connector

Maybe one for @pwood999 ? I used my horn the other day and wasn't very impressed. Then I heard @MrGorsky 's horn and it didn't sound like mine. A little investigation revealed my right hand horn was a) loose and b) not working. If you take the grill and slam panel off and then remove the...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Strictly speaking it was yesterday but I changed the oil in the final drive units. Rear wasn't bad but the front was a grey emulsion. No sign of oil getting past the seals and the breather is fine yet it looks like water got in. I have done a lot of wading this winter. Looks like that might...

    P38A EAS again.

As RRDT suggested they may have been trying to get a later / earlier sensor to work. Other option is that they had Arnot 3 springs and longer shocks at some stage for greater articulation and had to extend all the sensor wires.

    P38A Leaky airspring connection.

    You forgot the plastic toothbrush.

    P38A Prices are up!

Doubt it was an option as it means rerouting a brake line and possibly an airline.

1997 is when they went dual tail pipe.

    Is Dot 4 Brake Fluid O.k. For A P38?

Very rare to need topping up. Follow the rear brake lines down, especially where they cross over the rear axle. Check for any dampness. If you have stainless steel braided flexis then check the ends for weeping.

    P38A EAS again.

Have to admit I cleaned out the rust and then whacked on a load of grease to try and protect it the last time I did mine. Didn't have any stonechip paint left!

Not had a Double-decker in years. Or a Curly-wurly. You're definitely heading in the right direction.

I'd be willing to let mine go for 24000€ if that helps you?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Cut my oil pipes and replaced with compression fittings and new rubber pipe. All seems good. Swapped out the oil and filter. The price of oil at the usual suspects was silly money so 20 litres of Smith & Allan fully synthetic heavy duty truck oil put in. Sounds very smooth.

    AN Lines on a P38

Finished. Seems to be holding OK. Took it for a test-drive and drove it like I stole it on the way back. No sign of any weeps. The turbo-wheezle has 5/8" outer diameter oil pipes. An adjustable pipe cutter does a lovely job if you undo the pipe clamp on the vertical support for the intake...

    AN Lines on a P38

Seem to be OK. Damn tight on tolerance. Fitted but just as I was reassembling the bloody rain started. ****ing it down. Back soaked through so gave up and came in. Currently looking out the window and hoping it will stop soon. Needs to handle 4 bar of pressure on the turbo-weasel.
