Got through its MOT :) Needed a refurb ABS pump/ECU though.

Apparently there's no feed to one of the ABS sensors but the wiring seems to be ok, although it's about to be checked by someone who is good at that kind of thing. LR tell me the ABS unit part no is SRB500250, and they would be very happy to sell me one for £1700 + vat. (we both laughed)...

Yep, it'll be that or (possibly) the handbrake.

Update - started the car today for the first time in months. Started great but handbrake stuck on. I've freed it but now the 3 amigos + handbrake light are back on. Hawkeye tells me there are 2 faults: 1st is "unknown fault", 2nd is "Internal fault". Very helpful.

Yes, weirdly it turned out to be EGR valve. Loads of problems went away after I - erm - fixed that.

My shower cap is probably committed elsewhere now. But, the screws for the roof glass bag are hand twisty ones. I got some wih the used bag. I'll try to dig them out so I can post a pic.

I think I've got one but I'm sure it has a bit missing, i.e the bit that supplies the tension. It came free with the soft-top so I don't really need it. I'll check I still have it.

It's getting harder to find bars for a 3-door, as 5-door owners are cannibalising them to make extended bars, because 3-doors are cooler.
