Where are you in the North West?

I followed a thread on here and had the same problem Didn’t make a difference apart from rough running when turned down, my car never smoked and it always felt under fueled. I have eventually done a manual pump conversion and dropped a running pin in. Much improved!!!!!!

I fitted a home made chip from one of the forums but it really didn’t make any difference on mine. I could never get to the bottom of why my EDC never felt right. Gutless unless driving down a cliff. At least now I can tow better and maintain some reasonable progress in the old girl!

You need a bracket from a manual pump fitted to an auto.

I would be interested in it for the farm but my budget doesn’t stretch that far! You should cover that money easily if you want the hassle of parting it out!

Well the loom and new bulbs arrived yesterday so got them fitted. Very very happy with the result. Not sure how much is the bulbs but it was an easy solution to enable the connectors to be upgraded without too much hassle. Now to get on with mud flaps and a few other bits!!! Thank you for all...

Agree with a lot of what has been said. I have used my standard D1 in Road Taxed vehicle trials with great delight. The one thing I would recommend is just get some off road biased tyres first and see if a lift is actually required. If I had the vehicle you have I don't think I would want to...

Thank you both!!! I have ordered the loom which has Ceramic connectors and also some new bulbs. I have also ordered a new steering damper and front mud flaps and headlight clips!! Will update when it is fitted!!!

Got away without replacing the floor but repairing.....will probably factor in a replacement at some point but the can has been kicked down the street for now. Just ordered a headlight loom, new bulbs and front mud flaps and steering damper. So will have something to do next week!!
