Mines got 2006 front end so no wipers. Also got perm low washer fluid which I believe stops headlamp wash function to save fluid.

Does that work on a RRS? Had to use diags on my mates but it had been stood for a while.

Tried it this morning and it does a squirt and wipe regardless of stalk position.

Mostly a pull on mine does a squirt and wipe but occasionally it does just squirt so needs an up or down motion :) Maybe it depends if it's on the auto wipe setting which mine usually is.

Not according to Rave. That's why some sensors have 3 wires and some have 6. Mine only has 3.

Don't think they were fitted to cars with HID's so you may not find one :) The height sensors will have 6 wires if the car has one. If there are only 3 wires it won't have one.

That is correct for MY2005. You push the stalk forward for rear window. Assume 2012 is the same.

What diagnostic tool did you use? It needs to be LR specific but assume you already know that.

A while ago I flashed a parked up taxi cos he was on the left facing me with headlights on so he decided to go main beam to be an even bigger prick. Needless to say my Disco with additional front spots won the competition.

according to google cats eyes are 20m apart and a headlight should reach 100m so maybe you have a problem with you lights or your eyesight :)

Yes but according to a quick google search it just says as long as it doesn't dazzle other drivers. I suspect lots of the ones that dazzle are poorly designed cheap imports.
