Mine is as slow as f**k, but it can tow well, but not fast enough, sometimes I have to start in low box to get going, then quickly change to high when I get up to about 20mph.
The main problem is tge power, make sure the clutch and gearbox is ok, cause getting it going would probably give it...
When I married my husband, he had an RR LSE stood for 2 years, now 11 years down the line, it's still stood up but at a different address, had at least 2 birds nests under the chassis, but also owned another LSE, so I guess we did enjoy it, me at the time being a new driver, I messed my pants...
I think it is worth replacing it. My husband had to replace ours in our 2.5dt, only because the fact that the blades had melted and the radiator exploded while climbing a hill with a 3 ton trailer attached. I don't think it would be difficult to replace as my husband had replaced it three times...
Yeah, but 1, I can't fit into one of them and 2, I prefer the land rovers, my knees aren't what they use to be. and 3. my land is a boggy steep bit of mulch, thanks to the cows escaping into my fields
Mine ****es me off too, and I have 5, so it is amplified 5 times, all I ask of him was a car that is not hard to drive and easy to fix with like a hammer
Not my fault, My hubby got an LSE b4 we married, I found a 4.6 HSE, which would work if he hadn't stripped the thread on the transmission radiator, then he wanted a diesel for fuel economy, found a spares or repairs diesel, then had to get another 4.6 HSE when the first diesel blew up in Wales...
I just had 2 pop off 4 an errand and this tread has shot off! He can't get 3G his phone is an old style Samsung and just called him, he's getting recovery to cockermouth, something to do with a universal joint has either melted or shattered, needs a new prop and I think a cv joint, can't...
No, not that way, I'm in Whitehaven and he goes north on A595 2 get 2 Carlisle, there is a turn off saying Thornthwaite, there's a lot of people who work 4 sellafield cause its well paid and they are like super smart
No idea, just found out, someone called me asking for my husband, expecting to be at the house in Scotland, I try calling to check up on him just to find out he has been broken down for about an hour, I think he said something about the prop shaft or something, didn't get much out of him as my 2...
Just found out my husband is broken down on the A595 near, I think he said Thornthwaite turn off. If there is anyone near by, can you check up, he has 2 of my young daughters in a T reg Red Range Rover P38. I haven't got a car as my husband has the only road legal car
oh well, never mind what I said, mine is a 2.5 DT, my guess would probably be the head gasket, try putting some K seal in the engine, it will probably give it a couple of more miles life in it, Worked for my 4.6 HSE
