mine is just crap on starting, even then not all the time as my missus started this morn and said there was no problem. Big white smoke, lumpy idlefor ten secs, pulls like a train for the rest of the day (have done the egr/manifold/maf/synergy set to stun!).

£88 sheets is a snip.I bought a box fr mine, cost £375 without delivery, but well worth it. Everytime they have a shake it catches it all leaving the cabin clean-lander.

Blue smoke would indicate oil, and i reccon that it would do it while you were runnin. I'll get it one day!

I think that you can lock it with your key in the door (how dark aged!) and that will do the locks/immobiliser without the interior space sensor, I'm not sure if it will turn off the tilt alarm though.

itis a modified bmw part for the breather element where you put a cyclonic filter assembly in and get rid of the foam seperator, and the risk of it clogging and choking the engine. if you do a search for crankcase breather it should come up.

Anyone out there reconditioned thier injectors themselves? i'm thinking that there cannot be too much to it as long as you can get the washers/nozzles supplied. anyone know an overhaul procedure for them? are they on RAVE? Cheers Billy g

Have a good look at all of your manifold hoses i have had two go on mine each with smoke/lack of power. Did not notice those noises though, but the stereo is usually blastin' out some rory gallagher or similar.

Have a jump on your boot lip, see how it feels.

Mine has been a bit crap starting up first of the day, chugs a bit then same smoke for 5 secs. I have just put in new glowplugs maf and egr bypass, cleaned out the intake manifold. Thought i had it sorted as it went with no fuss after that lot, but it did it the other morning on the way home...
