Havent got runners in my 88", dont need them anyway being tall i just shove the seat all the way back. The runners in my brothers 90 ffr though were gummed up and were freed through liberal coatings with diesel to work into the mechanism. Work like new now

My series doesnt even have a frame for any of the seats

It'll be the same as standard series centre seats (not the deluxe ones) which will probably be easier to get hold of

Most likely the injector pipe or another pipe has developed a fracture. Nothing to do with the seller as it can just happen, after all its almost 30 years old and the vibrations over the years can fatigue the pipes. Happened to me last month in my 12j

Check the earths and the starter connections. I had exactly this problem and it would take glow plug heat and another 30 secs of cranking to get going when cold. Tightened all earths and it goes first rotation now after 20-30 secs of glowplugs

Most probably , havent really looked at a proper route yet but am quite easy as to meeting people on the way down

Done a little more work today, the clutch hydraulics are now fully plumbed in and I started to strip down the front doors ready for repair work(there currently upside down with diesel down the thread holding the door top to bottom as theyre siezed in place

Thanks :) well she doesnt drive yet so it tends to go without much protest haha! I still need to tidy up the bodywork a little and do a few oddjobs but thats the fun of having a landy as your daily drive

Very handy ifyou have a winch fitted, either capstan or otherwise. If an electric winch is fitted, if you set the revs quite high then you wont flatten the battery using the winch as it will be charging

I do have breakdown cover but seeing as I am an engineer (albeit marine) and can use the tools, I'd rather hve a go and see if I can fix it myself before calling the big yellow taxi (unless its something catastrophic)

I have actually used them all but always on someone elses car haha, they do come in bloody handy, I have an old toolbox in the back made by an uncle in the 50s where I chuck everything in

I know this is an old thread but heres a list of what I have on board: Combination spanner roll which has 1/4" - 1" and 6mm - 22mm, made by kamasa and can purchase on Amazon 9/16" cranked ring spanner which fits the propshaft nuts (the only one I have which isnt a bastard to get on the nuts)...

Is it not a mechanical speedo cable? It is on my brothers 90 FFR
