No good taking bulb out at the MOT requires the light to be on when first switching on and thenn going out after a predetermined amount of time.

Obviously a young whipper snapper you are. The older you get (like me), the less you can turn your nut around to get both eyes looking, for depth perception ! :mooning:

Normally a battery load/drop tester. New batteries are supplied with enough charge to start a car, however they will have been on the shelf for some time. If it starts your vehicle, simply use that vehicles charging circuit to do the job whilst driving it. You could meter it though. A lead...

Tried that, and no bloody success !
