searched ebay only found them for tractors so wasn't sure that would work. Tried my local NAPA and the specifically said they could not get them. Some of the issue is not knowing the actual product ID. I didn't want to guess on something that owuld fit a tyre not sold in the U.S.

Well John Craddock got back to me, but better yet a place in the U.S. called Rovahfarm has them in stock. So i get to hang on top my tubed tyres for a bit longer.

The only thing that uses tubes over here is tractors and atv's and those tubes are not for use with radial tyres.

Does anyone have a good supplier willing to ship inner tubes to the U.S.? My Security 7.5x16 tyres are in good shape seemingly but i have one that's gone flat and needs a new inner tube. They are the devil to find in the U.S.

Just the tuning mentioned in the OP, slightly better exhaust routing, and a very large intercooler. Well, and putting the whole thing in a '78 109. Intercooler is ~22" x 12" x 3" edit: also deleted the viscous fan for a electric spall fan.

If it is happening at low rpms you might be able to see the steam pulse if it is a head leak on one cylinder. Just soemthing to look for

I would buy the cheapest oil i can find and do a few rinse outs as lynall said. After the first one i would add a solvent like Marvel miracle oil or whatever equivelant you guys have.

I have not done the research, but I have a lot of turbo experience, so take my opinion for what it is. I don't think you'll find there is much gain to be had from a new turbo on a small diesel engine. Anything you do to increase peak hp A/R will rob the lower end. A good intercooler corrects go...

I take my TRUCK to work every day and a 70mph highway at which point power starts to matter. :P You're right though if your Land Rover is just for off-road use then power upgrades really aren't needed, and can even be a hindrance. Keeping off-road capability is why I don't recommend the star...

My handbrake wont stay up. The notches all seem to be intact, but the catch isn't springing back against the notches. where is the spring for the catch? how can i get it to spring back to it's normally closed position?
