Old exhaust was holed everywhere and had been welded badly in several places and was 3\4 snapped at 4 of these so not a fair comparison. Let's say doesn't sound any louder at all but sounds 'tighter and grumblier' Absolutely no big changes. Just nicer.

Well for the price and the good fit it seems good value. If it lasts then wouldn't think twice about buying same exhaust. That's why posted this one here..just wanted to state price and how good a fit it was.

Well was desperate. Old rotted exhaust snapped in 4 places. Had to go local specialist and they seem to supply almost 70% Britpart. Dont seem to get a choice. Anyway middle pipe is stainless. Was just pleasantly surprised at the good fit. And £112 was inc genuine manifold gasket, 3 rubbers and...

Well in desperation for new exhaust bought local...fitted Britpart downpipe, stainless straight thru pipe (also Britpart) and Britpart rear silencer. Fitted like a dream and whole lot £112 was best local price by far. No Britpart dramas that I was warned about.

I agree...I have 200tdi and love it.Have driven them all. Never noticed much difference between 200 and 300 except different engines and r380 gearbox is nice. Td5 is a good engine too. I think any are going to be fine. I would have any. None are perfect.

Liquid electrical tape is a godsend for electrics that are going to get wet. I use it on everything from boats to kids rc cars.

The gap fumes were escaping from on mine was tiny...really gives an idea of just how good a job all these flimsy gaskets!!!

I would personally knock any rot on the head immediately before it creeps into other areas. Can't see clearly in PIC so just general statement but hard learned lesson for me in previous times.

Really could be manifold. I had fumes similar to you...manifold gasket had perished. Fitted new one and that solved it.

Aye your right. Seats are just so bad they are almost not seats anymore. Barely any foam left in bases.
