    intermitant sensor 3 amigos

It's okay if you have your own nanocom etc and have the time to muck about adjusting/replacing the sensor. But I was paying £30-£40 every time lights needed resetting so quickly went for changing both rear hubs when mine were playing up ("intermittent (both) rear sensor faults")

    Soon to be disco owner

Don't get me wrong, I love my D2, but if I were getting something for off roading it would be a Defender. Disco is a great road/tow vehicle with off road ability. Defender is an off roader that you can just about put up with on the Tarmac!

    Turbo boost problem

btw, leaking FPR is an MOT failure, so you'll have to fix that too!!

Rear rh oil leak not brakes advice on new part

Get some brake disc retaining screws if you can, they strip really easy.

boot door mechanism & reverse light switch

Re rear door- before you change it, try this quickly (could be it is actually unlocking but the handle is sticking); Remove the Landrover badge above the external rear door handle. Squirt liberally with Wd40 or the like. Try again! This has fixed a few that wouldn't unlock, including mine.

air suspension issues, all words of wisdom appreciated

Not too helpful, but mines had two new bags, a new compressor, a slabs ecu and some pipe work. That was spread over a two year period, but that was a few years ago and not had any issues since

    Dave's new mota !

I get constant 30mpg out of mine. Short journeys and thrashing it. So I'd imagine its possible.

Both rear passenger doors not unlocking

Private purchase I presume?! You issue is almost certainly the individual actuators in each door. Obviously car was probably left open for you when viewed as the seller was likely fully aware of the fault!

Both rear passenger doors not unlocking

I'd have presumed it's both the actuators in the doors, but strange for two to go at once! Are you sure they have both just stopped working or is it possible they went one at a time? Pain in the bum to change them, as you have to strip the door frame down to get them out. That's why mines stayed...

My favourite fix. Take it apart, clean it, put it together again. Fixes a lot of things!

    Safe to wash engine.

I've power washed mine before when looking for a leak. Should have got some decent degreaser as washing alone doesn't shift much!

    Towing troubles

Sounds like you've already gone off your Landy so I suggest you sell it. You've got to want it badly enough to keep a Landy, despite all/any issues! I'd say you'd be lucky to get £1500. (Especially as it's Red. And everyone knows Red ones don't pull up hills) Btw- coming on a Landy forum...

6 speed or higher ratio 5th.

It does feel like it could do with it sometimes. But also easy to live without it! I think if it were that easy you'd hear about people doing that mod by now. (My old series could only do just over 40mph- purely cos of the gearing. Many people did add overdrive/5th gear to those as only 4...

    bolts missing and a leak!

do it once, do it right. New FPR. I would NOT like to change mine again! It is just fiddly to get into that area to work. I did some from below (bottom bolt) and some from above. I have heard many times when people who just change the gaskets etc then have to go back and change the whole...

    bolts missing and a leak!

FPR leaking is an MOT failure by the way. Hope yours isn't due soon. Clean it off, give a run and check again. You should feel it wet underneath if it's leaking. Fiddly job to do but fairly straightforward. Selection of extension bars for socket set is useful. Btw if I ever got down to "small...

    ABS not working.

Probably those 5000+ posts he's made (just on this forum!) And yes, he does! I had fault "intermittent sensor ring" for both rear hubs. Changed both hubs, got fault/lights reset (they were permanently on) and no more issues. But your situation doesn't sound quite like that.

    ABS not working.

Anything except reading the fault codes will be pure guess-work. I'm not surprised the 3 amigos come on, but I am surprised they clear themselves again. Doesn't sound like the usual dodgy hub scenario, but as said- you can't be sure till you read the codes.

    Discovery buying advice?

Ffs mate, you asked a stupid question and got some stick. If you can't take a little p take- this isn't the place for you. Buy a Toyota instead, they're much more reliable Oh and thanks for the entertainment! PS Quoting the post above is quite normal, or haven't you even been reading for the...
