    few jobs to sort for mot, rear prop sorted and hand brake adjusted, now the starter motor is playing up, so took that off and cleaned it up but no better, have to click the key 2 - 3 times to get it to start , best get on eblag and find a new one, tis for a v8 if anyone got a good one lying around

    your local powder coating guy should be able to match them with your favourite nail varnish colour :)

    earth strap will be somewhere near the battery box underneath from engine gearbox to chassis,will be a braided strap, also look at wires on battery and on starter motor , to replace starter motor is normally only a couple of bolts so depends how " Handy "you are

    sounds more to me like the starter motor is getting hot, or maybe probs with earth strap from engine to chassis
