    the jolt sounds like the rear drums sticking, usually happens tomine on cold mornings to. if its a one off then this will be the issue. if its constant then that will explain any dragging effect and the fuel comsumption but would be backed up by a god awful brake smell

    there are 2 knobs on my instrument panel. i know one switches the odometer to trip display and when held in rests the trip. but what does the other one do? i cant see any effects from pushing it in. its on the left hand side of the speedo

    is it a local dealer or a franchise? either way get the garage that did the new test to write a letter outlining their concerns/feelings on the original test. send a copy along with your reciept to the place you bought it from asking for a refund of the whole amount saying they sold a vehicle...

    Freelaner, not that i can see. Rhodie it could be the that as its in the same location. heater is always on and i turned it off as i parked tonight so makes sense

    i went out tonight and noticed a damp patch under the car. on further examination i can trace it back to a dangling rubber hose tucked away at the back of the engine bay running down the bulkhead. i am hoping the pipe/tube/hose is just a drain for the scuttle panel or something. can anyone...

    Make sure the wiper arm is not touching the window. Manually put it on the door rubber. There is a sensor in the window mechanism that retracts the window when an obstruction (such as the wipet) gets in the way
