    need a bit more information but if you have no oil in the swivel then the top and bottom swivel bearings can collapse giving play at the wheel and a funny feel to the stearing... urgent attention required.. Tell us a bit more, describe the symptoms and tell us what bus it is...

    Front prop shaft

    The prop is a balanced shaft, put the hammer away, just keep trying the splines, turning one spline at a time until you find the one that slides easily. You are supposed to mark the shaft to align the splines.

    Adjusting the box is easy but it is a case of "feel" and experience, you could do with being shown the first time. the only time you will feel "negligible" play is in the center of its movement and the trick is to adjust until this tiny point has just about got play you can feel. any more and it...

    Well I just spent a huge chunk of the weekend changing the clutch in my FOCUS.... OK not my Landy, but it was raining and I got wet so its the just the same, plus I had to drive the Disco while the F**** was sick... All better now.. :D:D

    you shouldnt need any bolts, only the ones you take out. When the clutch is assembled and bolted up there should be no play in the driven plate, its held firm by the pressure plate.. thats how it drives. Are you feeling play in the spring/cushdrive assembly in the plate? if so then you may but...

    Here's another... Welcome to Biodiesel Filling Stations I'm gonna try it, i think just adhoc with both vehicles.. My Focus does loads of miles so the saving should be considerable and I've still gotta do that damn clutch..

    I would remove the box. I've no lifting gear and got to work on the drive so for me its not an option to lift the engine. I would just drop the GB back on jacks enough to get to the clutch and you could get it done easy in a day...

    So OK, i've got my 200 Tdi Disco and my Focus TDCi, can i just go fill em with bio or do i need to prep or change anything? also can i swap back, or swap and change fuels as i feel fit. We got a Bio station 'tween Cannock and Stafford, but only one as far as i know...

    I have heard of the gear being welded to the shaft, not what i would recomend but it has been done before.
