:( Needed a new alternator and had the battery fully charged - was done local to my Sussex persona by a good guy who doesn't charge the earth but now two weeks later my fuel pump has gone....seems like every time I fix one fault another comes along

I hit this a couple of weeks ago when I had a dead Alternator and the battery had gone through the floor level of lack of charge. Symptoms were exactly the same so I wonder if the charging actually did anything here for you.

Just thought I should join in and introduce myself while I still have my Disco :( Seems like I am out of the honeymoon period and now every time I fix one thing, something larger/more complex/more expensive breaks. Currently weekending at home in Sussex and staying in Wiltshire for work...
