I just kept a photo of the old VIN and a receipt for the new chassis, I think that should do. Some people cut the old VIN out, but for some reason I didn't do that!

You haven't been reading his thread have you?! It is one of the most comprehensive chassis up rebuilds I have seen. Erm, there isn't that much that is nyloc, most of mine had the springy washer things. Bolts that hold the tub together? Or were they smaller?

I would do it yourself, it seriously took me 15 mins to put the seal onto the glass and run the paracord around the edge, then 30 seconds to fit it. You obv need two people to line it all up, but it is really that easy. There is a great guide somewhere if you want me to find it

I changed mine not long ago, most likely the nut will sheer off rather than undoing. Try to wiggle them a bit before that happens and get some WD40 on it.
