It's just another broken Land Rover half shaft. When it is muddy you can leave it in diff lock.

I have them on my build, he made me a custom length drag link and I have Gwen Lewis track rod ends in them. Oh and the damper bracket is a very nice piece.

No it won't make a difference to the rear, think if you are climbing out of a hole and one front wheel isn't on the floor then all drive goes out the rear anyway. You just need better halfshafts and then stronger diffs etc. and that is how it starts. :D

We don't get much trouble with hand brakes nowdays, D4's are way better than D3's in that respect.

Normally There are bubbles visable in the expansion tank. usually when the head gasket goes there is oil in the header tank.

The transfer box diff is controlled by a multi plate clutch which can lock the diff or provide torque biasing The rear diff can be either an open diff or a lockable dii depending on spec. KV6 engines do have a high normal running temp, though don't go by the gauge on the dash. The gauge on the dash rises as the engine warms up then at a certain temp goes to normal and stays there until the engine starts to overheat at which point it will rise very quickly. Everyone is at the national and I am in the workshop painting :( I have put a second coat on the roof, rear cover and the body, plus painted the wings. The paint is tekaloid tractol. It doesn't cover as well as I would like, though both my Devilbiss guns are broken so I have done it with a cheap...
