    Whats tha difference?

I mean - 'terrain response' - whats that all about for gods sake ? - instead of putting high/low range in, they put a switch with settings like 'snow' ,'grass' , 'gravel' etc. - just shows the sort of people they expect to buy a freelander do they have a 'left' & 'right' on the steering wheel...

    Whats tha difference?

improved ground clearance (can go up kerbs & over speed bumps now  ) 'Terrain Response' standard on all models (still no low range) more spacious interior (more room for all those hairdressing accessories) apart from that - no idea why - you thinking of gettin one ?

    new td4 owner

Ah - the old "the guy who deals with it is on holiday/off sick/been abducted by aliens" chestnut - then when he does 'come back' it'll be "I'm sorry, sir - we can't seem to find the service book, not to worry, we'll get you a replacement & make it all up!" It's not as if you're buying a £3k...

    new td4 owner

it may be completely OK, stratstones do move vehicles about in the group - but if the vehicle is theirs to sell they should have the service book - if they've still got to get it off the previous owner what's to say he's still got it ? once you've collected & paid for it they can keep fobbing...

    air suspension problem

2 very common faults with the disco - sounds like leak in the n/s/r air bag (£100 parts to buy, not hard to do) - did you not check for both these faults when you bought it? - did it come with warranty?, if so - take it back
