    The dreaded steering box drop-arm

I had this job last year, I didn't even try to rebuild, I just bought a new arm with the joint in it already, tried for 10 mins, gave up, cut it off, job done in about an hour and a half. patience is also not one of my strong points. Usual landy work routine for me is, change into work clothes...

    Cooking oil - fuel

Id also add, Id reccommend using veg only if your doing longer runs at least a couple of times a week where the engine gets up to temperature properly, using veg on short runs and never getting the engine temp up can lead to the rings gumming up,

    rear shocker mount

anyone got a pic of a 110 rear shocker mount, went to sort mine out today, as i have play in the bush, but on closer inspection, the nut and washer arrangement won't fully clamp onto the bush, and will allow sideways movement, and presumably faster wear on the bush. I compared it with the...

my quest for a quiet exhaust pipe!

try getting somone in the back to touch one, or both the side panels, and see if that makes a difference, it does sound like an interior resonance, a bolt or somthing working loose on a panel can have quite a dramatic chance of resonant frequencies. are the van sides and roof still securly...
