Is there such a thing as a 'slightly' raised air intake?!

wot Ratty said, mines a mantec (or mantec style) and it is no higher than the highest point of the fender.

    MOT/bush cables

Many, Many things will pass an MOT that are not road legal, its a difference between MOT requirements and Construction and Use regs. An MOT is a test of minumum roadworthyness, not of vehicle legality.

    LED Lightbar Question

Have got 4 "spots" on top of the landy, cant see why you would want one great big one... The idea of the combo is to penetrate further ahead (spot) but give a decent amount of light around you to navigate by (flood) never having looked, as decent light bars are expensive, and more affordable...

    Fan belt keeps flipping over

must be a Vee belt, no way a serpentine could flip surely? Otherwise as above, new belt and check everythings in line/not wobbling etc.

    300TDI non starter

you got a wider pic? From your description it sounds like your getting confused, the stop solenoid IS the spade terminal on the back of the injector pump. That pic looks more like the throttle position sensor for the EGR valve.

Reet. Got a 110 CSW, that is in need of repair under the rear ARB mounts (how the feck the mot didn't notice, I have no idea, one had collapsed into the chassis!!!!) Shes got a 2" lift. Do I repair, and replace the ARB mounts where it is? Do I repair, and space out the ARB 2" from the...

Aztech Engineering - are they still trading?

    led bulbs

Even the light bars etc can turn out to be crap/over rated. May state the watted the LED is capable of, (ie a 2.5W led x 100 = a 250W light bar. ) In reality, even a reputable brand will run the LEDs at about 80% max power for longevity so best case is (2.5wx0.8) x 100 = 200 ACTUAL watts. Many...

    Difference in brake pipes

On my96 110 fender the rear axle is one circuit, the abs would be independent to each wheel. buy a brake pipe tool and a roll of pipe, make your own :)

Doesn't seem to be running right

Viton pipe is good for bio resistance, but its pretty expensive, and can be hard to get in larger sizes, I use rubber and replace as required. longer runs nylon airline is fine. Viton can also be used for leakoffs as its heat resistant.

300 tdi low water float switch

Wouldnt an oil temp gauge do the same thing, if it looses coolant/not circulating the water temp obviously doesnt change much, but the oil temp would shoot up.
