    Very subjective I know, but........

Ahhhh, and there's me thinking it was the house brick like aerodynamics of a Defender :p

    Very subjective I know, but........

See, you're not on your own Mick, the missus likes em colour coded, although now they're like new and black she likes that as well. Problem is, she saw it tonight and said..."makes the grill and headlamp surrounds look a bit dull now" So...where does it all end?!

    Very subjective I know, but........

......colour coded or black? I'm just finishing off (that's a laugh, do we ever) and was wondering what you guys think of colour coded vent covers or black (gloss?) I'm putting a stainless side wing cover on and sprayed up an old blank cover tonight as I thought colured top ones would look tidy...

    The defender club wave

My wife too, she loves our Landy but with both of us waving frantically it seems to us as we look like a pair of lunatics, one needs a little decorum. ;)

    The defender club wave

For a laugh we did a survey on this and counted the number of return waves over a 6 month period. A wave was issued to every Defender driver we passed. Positive return waves = 70% Non returns = 30%. To sum up our findings: (not a definitive statement but one based upon our experiences and...

How messy is using a compressor and spray gun?

Drive up ramps just for a bit of room, front then the back. Just don't kink the application tube while under pressure.

How messy is using a compressor and spray gun?

Waxoyled my 90 last year. Put ramps on a tarp and weighted the edges down. I wore a tyvek suit with hood up and mask/gloves etc...got plastered in the stuff, tyvek suit ripped to shreds as crawling around on my back ruined my cloths underneath and looked like a negative panda for days...

Carrying mountain bikes in a Defender

Okay, I guess if I had a similar conundrum, I'd put the boat on a roof rack (without engine) and the bikes in the back of the 90. Taking front wheels off bikes would give more room for outboard inside Defender....or swap 90 for a 110! :)

Carrying mountain bikes in a Defender

A friend of ours uses a tow ball rack which clears his spare. Not sure what make it is though. If you're trailering the boat why not put the bikes in the boat?
