    Electrical help please

Sorry, I meant the later 300tdi which is in a td5 body (or at least that’s what I have been led to believe)

    Electrical help please

My New Years resolution was to finish my project by the end of the year and as always I’m going to need your help to accomplish this! With that in mind I’m trying to work out how to rewire my car, and I need to find out which chassis number this fuel pump (VDO 220-801-011-001z) belongs to, it...

    This hole? (Heater matrix)

Ok thanks, hopefully none fell off whilst I was getting it out I think I’ll just replace the seals and buy a eberspatcher night heater instead.

    This hole? (Heater matrix)

No idea? It came off the bulkhead I bought and of course I don’t know the history, hence the reason I think I should do it, now I’m thinking maybe the motor as well? Talking of which..... Are these metal clips to balance this unit or are they not suppose to be there?

    This hole? (Heater matrix)

Hey, So found some inspiration on here to clean up and maybe upgrade the heater matrix, whilst splitting it up I found this hole, is it supposed to be there or should I fill it up? Also the resistor (I’m presuming that’s what it is) does anybody know where can I get that from? Still toying...

A few things to think about

Yeah the problem I have is, the 200tdi fuel tank would be on the O/S side and the fuel tank I’m using is in the rear, I don’t think RC considered all of the complications of adding the rear fuel tank to the chassis, so now I need to find the best way of securing it without drilling into the chassis.

A few things to think about

So now my engine is running, and water tight I have a few things to consider, so I’m fishing for ideas to come up with the best solutions. I have a plastic tank at the rear but a RC 200tdi chassis, how would you fix the fuel pipes in place? (Is there any law regarding its placement) I’ve read...

    A big thank you

Well it's 04:18 in the morning and I can't sleep, purely because I started the engine up again but this time all is well and sounds sweet as a nut. The down side to this is, I'm all excited about my next course of action and cant sleep!!! So I have found myself back on the laptop reading forums...

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

I know, I have taken over a room and filled it with the rest of the body and a few other bits..... she doesn’t even mention it now The problem with the tub is that visitors see it as well as her (I still can’t see an issue personally)

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

Not stopping now, plus it will get her off my back, she hates the rear tub sitting in front of the French doors PMSL

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

My experience wasn’t great, but in all fairness to them they sorted the problem out..... at least I think they have! So, I bought the 200tdi chassis with the optional extra TD5 rear fuel tank mounts and the gearbox cross member, for those who have helped me out along the way (cant thank you...
