Your right it’s not designed for the TD5, although they said it would be fine you just have to trim it a bit, which they have done many times with good results to be fair to them (they sent me pictures, this all me and my poor craftsmanship)… You’re also right about the grey plastic bit not...

Yeah that bit, I know it may not look much and there is quite possibly a bodge solution…. But it would play on my mind every time I drive it. Weirdly don’t really care too much if I have a dent or scratch here or there but that would really irritate me‍♂️

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but it’s of great interest to as well at the minute.... after a year and a half of moving I have finally got back to my project! First job I thought I’d refurb the axles, mine had a dodgy plate poorly welded on, so I bought another axle to do the refurbishment...

Since moving I haven’t touched mine as there has been far too many jobs to do, so it’s has been far too long!! That said I just put a consumer unit in so I now have power and lights and every intention to start up again. But the answer to your question is I think I’m gonna have to get one made...
