What did you do with your Range Rover today

Can't beat a bit of percussive maintenance Last time I had swollen nuts I had to go hospital which made it worse, I couldn't sit for weeks it the left one was probably a good 10-13cm circumference

    Other Ooh!!

Has the colour changed to white for anyone else now The freelander is still outside just sitting there just not insured at the moment since I swapped that to the p38, I haven't got round to adjusting the facebook ad for it yet as I put up for a bit more than its worth mainly just to stop to...

In that case I’d order a socket for your 3/4 and probably a cheapo sacrificial 1/2 breaker bar aswell that way you can use both of needed and always handy to have one you don’t care about for this reason.

Breaker bars are cheap for what they are so I wouldn’t worry too much, either that or get yourself a 3/4 inch bar that will get them off for sure.

Oh dear not good. I reckon the tc seal is weeping on mine as I’ve noticed a touch of dex 3 dripping from the bottom of the bell housing where it meets the engine. Might have a oil leak on the engine too done my best to clean up but can’t tell if old oil from when the rocker cover was leaking on...

    P38A Eas silencer threadsize

1/4” bsp would make sense as that’s the standard for air lines so makes sense being as it’s to do with air. If I had one of my computer water cooling bits to hand I would have been able to test as that also shares 1/4 bsp.

Yeah I spotted them but had no way of attaching the bit of foam to them at the minute, I definitely plan on covering them with mesh though when I get some. Touch wood I’ve never had any mice round by me and had no issues with them being at the cars yet but never say never. Don’t think I’m...

In that case if you pop down a local fittings / plumbing place they would be able to identify the threads in an instant for you.

All done and sealed up and back together, since I still had the hose out from clearing the drains I thought I would give the car a spray down and a decent concentration on the plenum area to test and all appears to be dry with no dripping. Left the pollen filters out for now to just see easier...

Not the neatest of cuts but it’s much thicker than the original stuff not that there was anything left beside what was clogging up the drain, should be pretty good though the fish tank stuff. At the very least should do for a while till I get some alli mesh for it.

It’s a Range Rover you could try and get it to come out on its own with promises of treats and it would still break. I’d personally try a squirt of silicone spray around it hopefully helps it slide out a touch nicer.

I’m unlikely to be able to get close enough to attach where it’s supposed to go but would attaching it to battery negative be enough? As that is easily do able.

You know that explains when I get out of most cars I tend to put my hand on the roof as I lift myself out and get an electric shock.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Looks like it’s mainly coming in from the screw that sits just above the pollen filters for the bottom part of the plenum plastic and clogged up with the debris of the old air filter

Yeah mines a flat cables thanks for that, I did read that it might help with stopping interference for the radio fm but who knows admittedly my radio does seem to truffle to get anything other than radio 2 and classic so maybe that is the reason. Well if it was the Barb fitting I couldn’t say...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Will do, I think that might be one of the main reasons it’s getting in. Probably blocked up or mostly blocked since there is no foam there at the minute so the sitting water finds everywhere else to escape into. Clearing the drains might be enough to sort the leak but might aswell do the job...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

While I was under the bonnet pretty much literally as I had left in int to wade height to give it the dehumidifier the best chance of staying level if it decides to self level over time and being only 5ft 3in meant had to pretty much get on top of the engine to reach the lpg injectors to plug...

    Other Ooh!!

I was getting trophies before the upgrade, while I’ve been a member for a couple of years actually been checking the site since mid 2020 but only started posting once I got my p38 as to be honest nothing ever actually went wrong on my freelander 1 so I never needed any help.
