    P38A New P38 EAS

Though thinking about it, it does self level so relay must still be connected.

    P38A New P38 EAS

I'm assuming you did that on mine? That might be why i've not been able to connect to the eas through the nanocom then as it just hangs and doesn't do the beep that I think it should when it tries to communicate.

Coil conversion - What was I thinking. New pump and 4 new bags and I'm all good

OEM Dunlop ones, they are usually around £60 each

Still worth check out for leaks on the airbags and line, usually the compressor gets overworked due to leaks and that’s why the compressor then fails.

    2.5 ton paperweight??

No they are the door outstations, what are door outstations? Not a bloody clue but that’s what they are. I believe the built in amp is part of the sub enclosure that sits above the 6 cd changer on the left hand side of the boot behind a removable panel.

    2.5 ton paperweight??

Sounds like they cut the wiring out of the original radio so they could use an aftermarket, the original harmkon kardon system speakers were all amp driven by the one on the left side of the boot which is standard but obviously they wouldn’t work off aftermarket radio so they cut the wires and...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Managed to find an angled 12 point spanner of my brothers which meant I was able to get the one corner nipped up but can’t fit it in on the bolt by the brake reservoir as all the pipes and such are in the way. Edit: found a smaller length spanner and managed to get the bolt closest to the...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

In the immortal words of Jeremy Clarkson “ I did a thing!” Fitted the new solenoid and drove round the block on gas had the adjust the map sensor pipes for it as they were the wrong way round. In sad news found the oil leak, drivers side rocker cover is actually loose as I can give it a slight...

Sport New to me 4.2 sc

Maybe one of time I go and see the kids since they are in the wakefield area I should take them for a daytrip out to York and have you do mine for me ;) Cheaping out on the film that's a typical Yorkshire man not wanting to part of with their cash.

P38A Cruise Control - Armchair theorists required for ideas and help.

Yeah pretty much, I would assume being a vacuum line to the cable it would essentially be able to hold exactly but maybe I'm wrong. I've already tried adjusting both the cruise admittedly only with the old mk1 eyeballs but as I do a lot of wood working fine measurements I'm pretty good at...

P38A Cruise Control - Armchair theorists required for ideas and help.

This something that I need to check on mine as I too find mind swims a little but seems better than your as using set does accelerate it just seems to swim a bit and it's already had vacuum lines replaced, should check what nanocom says aswell in case that gives any hints.

Tinting wise did you do it yourself? is it particularly difficult to do if so? I ask but I'm tempted to put some dark tints on the rear of my p38 it looks like the fronts and I suppose presumably the back but I haven't check had a light tint as I noticed on the front passenger and drivers side...

Coil conversion - What was I thinking. New pump and 4 new bags and I'm all good

Indeed, while I haven't had to change an airbag yet from what i've saw on the youtube it seems really simple a very quick to do in the grand scheme of things. I've never liked the idea of compressing a spring. Plus airbags are cheap for what they are. valve blocks the o rings are cheap enough...

Coil conversion - What was I thinking. New pump and 4 new bags and I'm all good

What EAS issues are you having? It's just my thought that with the price of the kits anyway you could probably sort out the eas issues for the money or less. Having driven a p38 with the spring conversion it's no fun. Though to answer your actual question it depends assuming the kit is set for...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Well yesterday, I fitted the new barb for the lpg chucked it on the diagnostics for the lpg and was getting an error on the reducer solenoid must have knocked the wiring or something as its been butchered in the past and had the prongs snapped off and been soldered straight on to the copper but...

    P38A 1999 2.5 DSE down on power

Interestingly it did work cleaning mine on my Freelander diesel and that much like the range rovers only like the Bosch MAF that cost on arm and a leg but maybe mine wasn't too bad as It only felt a little sluggish nothing major and no codes coming up so probably wasn't too bad. I can see why...
