    Pl Leeaaassee not the cambelt

It's a belt not a chain. Remove the nut on the left hand engine mount and jack with a block of wood under the sump. Lift the gain access to the 4x 8mm bolts on the top cambelt cover. And remove the cover and have a looksee. I know I didn't need to tell you that, but for anyone else's future...

    Difficult to get in gear!

I would think that the arm is siezed that goes into the gearbox. Your bent bracket proves this. Hopefully you can un sieze it with some wd40 but worst case you will have to remove gearbox

    Pl Leeaaassee not the cambelt

I have a pump sitting in the garage, I would try the relay under the bonnet on the right hand side first. Surely a pump cant just go?

Rebuild project thread - many photos.

Wow nice to see a proper repair being done. It's sounds daft but I have never seen it. Yes of course I have read the thread on here about rotten trattors but as GG said, monocoque seems to be a bit more complex. I have only ever seen people do bodge it patches on. Quite interesting to see how...

    2 Amigos ???

Mine went on recently because fuse f2 was blown. But they didn't go back out again untill I changed the fuse obviously. The only other reason I know is stop light switch so check your brake lights

    anyone know anything about adblue?

Why didn't I see this post earlier. Adblue is very good at corroding copper from wiring and no doubt other metals. I can't remember the exact figure but it moves up a wire at a rate of about 1 foot an hour on a live circuit. The only thing you can do Is cut it off and rewire it. I have heard...

    Peterborough 14 stand.

Ses, I saw your f2 and thought about you having one that colour, didn't think it was actually yours! Probably walked straight past each other at some point but didn't know it. I saw the Mansfield 4x4 freelander in the car park too. Had a sneaky look around that. I always spend just as long...

I didn't see your post to meet up with you but I think I saw your orange freelander. Was it parked far on the left?

    LRO Show peterborough

Just got back. Took the big ginger dog, missus and kids. Had a good day out and brought a couple of cheap bits, no freelander bits of course but I was pleased to find Somone from the forum (even if I forgot to say I was from here too) and I saw a few freelanders dotted about. Would have liked to...

    First offroad attempt

Tyres and ground clearance. That will make things 100% better. The only thing I struggle with is ground clearance, my lanes I can pick my route a bit better though. Decent tyres will pull you through the belly scrape situations and Once it's lifted and not dragging it's guts everywhere you will...
