I think you are probably right: If it is not required then fitting it is silly.

    Steering damper

I'll get one of those today anorl, unless there's one with the motor... which is always possible.

The steering arm definitely has the mount. Kai has changed them on my disco in the past and recognises it

    Steering damper

There will be lots of other questions, I am sure: Kai and I know little about what we are doing but learn quickly. We plan to spray the chassis with hammerite.... after repairing any bits that need it... and wax oil the whole damn thing! Also weld the damper mount on the rear that is...

    Steering damper

Hi guys, Kai is working a a vehicle that has been donated to him. The steering damper mount is ker nackered. Can I get a steering damper mount from a supplier or do I need to fashion one and have it welded on? I can show photies if needs be, but from the position I would say that's about all...

    Painting axles

Hammerite is fine as the top coat... in fact I would even venture to suggest that if you are using hammerite you wouldn't need the red oxide under coat.... however I would be worried that if you do no remove it then you will not get decent coat on the more hard to reach bits

    Another Tracker

Min are a little more flexible that that. The link in my siggy will tell you more. It can be triggered by low battery, illegal movement, entry or exit to a restricted area: i can be hooked to a number of sensors which will send the alert when they are triggered, and it can activate switches...

    Another Tracker

The device is about the size of a couple of packs of cigarettes. The official figures quote a power supply between 8 and 36 volts... in reality I tend to stick to anything from 12 to 24 volts.
