    Re calls

They dont call them recalls anymore, they call them service campaigns or some ****e! As far as I know, they can be done whenever. If you phone LR head office with your chassis number, they'll tell you. The main one on earllier L322s was a prop shaft that wasnt flexing as it should ( or...

    TD5 EGR Removal

You have any probs fitting it? I think the TD5 Alive one is pretty well made. Some people have issues undoing the bolts and end up shearing heads off them!

After a part number - can anyone help?

Hey guys, I'm after a part number for A712610, a 2006 110. The part I need, is the cable which connects the heater on/off lever ( left hand side of instrument cluster) through the bulkhead, to the control flap on the side of the heater matrix under the bonnet. It is a steel cable in a...

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/buying-l322-td6-what-look-out-104238.html Most of the stuff on here is relevant to td6 or v8. I had a v8 and it was awesome. Expensive to run, but awesome!

    L322 side lights

Because filament bulbs draw more current, the cars diagnostics get confused when the LED lights are fitted. They draw much less current, and have a different resistance. I thinbk it can be cured by wiring a resistor in, in parallel, or somethin....

    TD5 Bonnet hinge bolts

See this thread http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/stainless-bolts-101658.html I got all my stainless stuff here: Defender 10% off. I used torx fastenings for mine, as they are less likely to round off when tightening, and they are (ever so slightly!) more secure, as less people own torx tools.

    Tow Bar Electrics L322 2004

L322's use a CANBUS wiring system, instead of wires for everything, they have a central Spinal cors, with cables coming off. If you just tap into them, they will send all sorts of fault messages to the ecu. Buy the proper connector for it....

    240V inverters

Does anybody have a 240V inverter fitted to their Land Rover? I want one for my 110, but am unsure on which type and what specs to go for. I want it to sit in the battery box under passenger seat, with a mains socket on the outside of the battery box, next to my anderson connector. what...

    Range Rover Convertable

I agree... looks very much like a RR Sport. Unless he's spent thousands on body kit. In middle east, they usually have the money to do things properly anyway, so I'd guess its a brand new l322 thats been chopped up. What a waste!

    Good on-road snow tyres 255/55-19?

You could always buy a cheap set of 18" wheels from Ebay. The HSE models and police spec models were fitted with 18" wheels as standard. You could then buy a set of General Grabber AT2's I used them on my L322, they were spot on in heavy snow in the scottish highlands. They were good on road...

How do you secure your winch?

They dont work, as the winch is ecured to the bumper (in 9 out of 10 cases) with the bolt heads on the outside and the Nuts, slotted into the feet of the winch. Unless you can get a bolt which shears off, insted of a nut...
