    Freelander 1 Clutch replacement

I can't remember now, was a few years ago. On Wednesday I took 2 gas bottles out of a camper. On Thursday I went to put them back and couldn't remember where they came from! 1 was OK, there was a box on the side of the van that said 'LPG', so worked that 1 out - but could not for the life of...

Freelander TD4 vacuum hose servo EGR and turbo

With that many Land Rovers, its not parts that is your main need, it is medical assistance. ;) Nice collection by the way. You need a P38 in there as well I think.

    Freelander 1 P scan diagnostic for 98 1.8 Freelander

No, your data looks very normal. (famous last words but) I've had my motor for 14 years and never had a wheel sensor go, or brake switch, which are the 'normal' type things Freelander owners are looking for. I've had to replace the modulator twice though due to faulty shuttle valves. It is a...

    Freelander 1 P scan diagnostic for 98 1.8 Freelander

I see your live data shows an error with the shuttle valves. Is that just a static message because its probably true? :D

    Freelander 1 Clutch replacement

Yeh, I think I cocked up the install and the rod popped out. IIRC, I put the rod up to the fork, then pushed the slave forward (either pushing the rod in or the fork out a bit, and managed to get the slave slotted into the bracket. Think the rod kept wanting to slide off the fork at the angle...

    Freelander 1 P scan diagnostic for 98 1.8 Freelander

The 98 car will have the Wabco ABS not Teves, so very different, but I'm sure pscan works well with it. The website says it does... https://pscan.uk/features/freelander1.html

    FL2 glovebox

The longer you can get through life without one, the better and less stressful your life will be. For sure, they are great little devices that tell you stuff only they can and save you many hours checking ****. But, when ever I use one, which is actually reasonably often, I age a couple of...

Freelander 1 98 1.8 cooling fans wiring diagrams

In Rave there are pictures of all the connectors. Find the connector number (for the relay), then look up its pic. you can confirm if you're looking at the right 1 then.

Wonder where you got that from?

New to me Freelander 2 SD4

Nice looking motor. If the dealer is paying, then give it to a garage or auto electrician to fix. Better still, get them to organise it and you can just drop the car off with who ever they use. Regarding vent, I'll follow the replies as it was about the only issue with mine when I got it...

Freelander 1 98 1.8 cooling fans wiring diagrams

Its all in the thread. Yes, you need a Windows PC/laptop to install it on and run. It downloads as an 'ISO' image that you mount and then becomes a drive letter on your PC that you can run the reader app on. Most people nowadays though have newer versions of Windows that it won't run on...

More than happy for you to pop round and plug it in to mine.

    H11 lamp connector replacement.

Breakers yards. I dunno anything about that part, but obviously off an F2 or maybe a 2010 era Ford or possibly other cars might use that as its possibly a Chinese parts bin part.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Smashing looking motor. Some decent cabbage trees you got there to. Bain of my life (or 1 of them anyway) continually tidying up their dropped leaves.

    VCU Torque test results

What I find amazing is that, like, windows are solid... but we can see out of them. Blows my mind. Can someone please explain? And like, how does turning that round thing in front of the seat on the right make the car go left or right? Unbelievable. Its like magic.

    L Series Injection Mods

Bloke at work was trying to open the bonnet on an Iveco the other day. He was struggling pulling the bonnet release handle to get the bonnet to open, couldn't get it to open. So I says to him I'd have a go, for him to go to the front and pull it in case that helps. I couldn't actually see...

    LED side lights not working

Actually, scrub that. I was thinking of the indicator lights/bulbs. Dunno if the side lights are the same.

    LED side lights not working

Have you swapped back to the originals and they still work? If you find they don't, you may find the bulb holder and the seating they fit in to on the lamp unit is broken. Its a common thing, and removing the holder may just have dislodged something. It is probably the LED bulbs, but worth...

My Freelander Passed with flying colours

A MOT pass doesn't necessarily mean reliable, but its a good start and does tell you that the important bits are sound. You know yourself whether its reliable or not. I have got things that don't work on our F1 that were broke when we bought it 14 years ago. They obviously don't inconvenience...
