Hi, Having the same problem but can't turn alarm off or open any of the doors other than driver door. Brand new 980 amp battery dead in 2 days. Can only assume water ingress has fried something but cant open bloody doors to check. What's a system reset on instrument cluster?

Hi New battery is tip top and starts the car in a flash, just lots of electrical faults. Spoke to a mate at L Rover and they suspect the fuses in the side panels are awash especially as my kicker wont communicate. If only I could get the doors and tailgate open.

Yes it is an L322 and you can get an eas reset tool from Mr Storey, used it a couple of times no problem. Can't get this damn alarm to stop. Missus not pleased.

I didn't know there was an SAI on the L322. Are you sure it isn't just the viscous fan stuck on. Seems a common fault. Mine sticks on occasionally but I find giving it a sharp rev or hanging on to a low gear will force it to release.

Yes Type A is the one. Have ordered one off the bay not quite the same but £100 cheaper. Garage took it out and bypassed the pump to get it off the ramp. Ran fine without it, is it really necessary?

Thanks for the info, managed to get over to the testers today. It is the additional (in Line) fuel pump which has failed, the mechanic tried to prise off the rubber fuel pipe and the pump literally fell to bits it was so corroded, good job it didn't fail whizzing down the motorway. Well spotted...
